OKR-NPE Link Bridge

• To ease travel for residents, MRCB spent close to RM115million to construct the 1km OKR-NPE link bridge.
• Construction of the bridge commenced in 2015 and was opened to the public in November 2018.
• The bridge will be used by 80% private vehicles and 20% commercial vehicles, this will benefit 20,000 residents and help ease traffic congestion on the Federal Highway, NPE and Jalan Klang Lama.
• It reduces the travelling distance from Bangsar to Old Klang Road, from approximately 5.5 km to 2 km, the distance from Taman Desa to Subangand Klang is reduced by about 5km.
